Rovandio’s new favorite thing is to paint horses! His curved brushstrokes outline the horse’s topline and in this particular painting he seemed to paint horse after horse after horse.

We spent multiple sessions working on this piece and he loves to paint on the larger canvas…so much space to really stretch out his neck. I added a metallic navy border to this piece and it really pops! The darker paint is metallic and has a lovely sheen to it in the light.

If someone had told me at that young age I would be painting with horses I think I would have been speechless. One of my driving motivations is to inspire others to think outside the box and pursue their dreams, no matter how many obstacles are in your path. I hope that Rovandio’s artwork inspires you to incorporate more imagination and magic into your daily life.
