“Guérison de le Cheval,” meaning Healing of the Horse, was created by Rovandio and me at the Healing Through Horses Professional’s Expo in New Gloucester, Maine, in September 2017. This painting holds deep personal meaning for me — it was the only time my grandmother was able to watch me paint on horseback. Having her there to witness this unique partnership between horse and rider made the experience unforgettable.
The original piece was born from movement and emotion — layer by layer, using color, texture, and flow to express the harmony between horse and human. Each brushstroke reflects the spirit of healing, connection, and freedom that horses so generously bring into our lives.
